Yes, on the surface it's a simple dig at Big
Government. But, I like the deeper
philosophical questions it raises. What
does it mean to be a parent, just lay the egg?
Is government really supporting people if it doesn’t even know who they
are? What are the proper boundaries between
family and government, are they being crossed, why? Is the baby bird’s final question fair?
